The Beauty In Capturing Moments: Photography

Photography was the first place where I felt myself at home.

I am to this day the "photographer friend" but what led me there was this urge to capture the most beautiful moments that told beautiful stories. I wanted to capture the essence of the moment and would push anyone seeing the photo start thinking.

As much as I love taking photos, I have to say I have taken a lot more bad photos than good, but I don't see that as something unfortunate. I was able to learn from every "bad" photograph. This really pushed to me to start observing and learning more. There is a technically a "correct" way to take a picture, but in the busy life that we live, I think it is a lot more important what we capture instead of how we capture it.

Sometimes the lowest quality pictures are the ones that create the most lasting impact while the professional ones are overlooked. I am not saying that quality doesn't matter. I just want to say that photography is a beautiful way where we can tell and share a story without having to use any words. It's a way to show and extend moments in time, it's a way for us to relive and enter the beautiful, fleeting moments that we cherish. Photography is truly a labor of love, I believe. And the people who truly care are the ones who end up capturing the most magnificent photographs.

I love photography and it never ceases to amaze and teach me. It is truly amazing how much we can learn without needing any words. Photography is a beautiful art and one that we should cherish.
